Lions Vision Screening Program

(4:23) View Brianna’s story about how her life was saved with early cancer detection.

New technology allows us to provide vision screening to thousands of children across Northern California. Clubs have access to SpotVision cameras in each region. Free screening for vision problems in younger children can catch problems early, allowing child to get treatment and corrective lenses through other services Lions programs.

It is the Vision of the Earle Baum Center to facilitate personal independence and growth for people who are blind or vision impaired by: Providing outstanding services to all our constituencies. Remaining committed to the organization’s mission. Improving and expanding services centered on the changing needs and environment of people with sight loss.

Lions Eye Foundation of California and Nevada

(3:50) Lions Eye Institute is located in San Francisco at 711 Van Ness Avenue and caters to all marginalized and income challenged individuals with support from local Lions Clubs.

Lions In Sight Program

(0:49) Lions In Sight is a growing global concern, particularly in China and Asia.

Student Speaker Contest

For the 85th consecutive year, the Lions Clubs of California will hold speech contests in local communities beginning in February 2017. Over $103,500.00 will be paid out in scholarships to the winning students. Participating students must write their own speech on the subject given.
