Lions Vision Screening Program
New technology allows us to provide vision screening to thousands of children across Northern California. Clubs have access to SpotVision cameras in each region. Free screening for vision problems in younger children can catch problems early, allowing child to get treatment and corrective lenses through other services Lions programs.

Student Speaker Contest for 2026-2027
Topic: “Should we return to teaching life skills in the high school experience”
For the 90th consecutive year, the Lions Clubs of California will hold speech contests in local communities beginning in February 2027. Over $103,500.00 will be paid out in scholarships to the winning students. Participating students must write their own speech on the subject given. The Final Four competition will be held at the Summer 2027 COG.
